Moon In Aquarius
Moon in Aquarius means it’s a good time to do spells involving science, freedom, personal expression, problem solving, friendship.
Here is a list of things you may find helpful in casting spells and such when the Moon is in Aquarius:
Herbs:
- Frankincense
- Myrrh
- Valarian
- Sandalwood
- Peppermint
Candle color would be Blue (or use white if you do not have any blue candles handy. White can be substituded for any color.)
“Air” stones if the Aquarius moon is also linked to Mercury, such as Aventurine and Yellow Jasper.
Aventurine increases sociability and our perception of those things around us, which also is intune with expression. Any of these stones can be purchased online or in Esoterical shops in your area. Of course you can substitute, just do your research first or opt for clear Quartz. Yellow Jasper is a stone that can help clear the mind and help us focus.
So clearly to me, with these different points in mind and the chosen herbs, colors and stones, I would go with a spell that is going to help you in situations where you find you need to bring a point across, or perhaps a meditation to just clear your mind of all the worry and frustration you may be feeling right now.
For instance you could meditate whilst holding a Yellow Jasper, burn some sandlewood insence and light a white or blue candle and find a place within your mind where you can bring about a little peace and perhaps be able to look at the situation your in, in a different light.
This evening I did a little research as I don’t have one of those handy Llewellyn calendars on me.. I haven’t purchased one in probably 5 years actually, which is pretty shameful to me when I think about it. I used to buy those faithfully every year! Well enough about the negative aspects and lets forge ahead!
A new blog today, I thought hmmm, well I just HAVE to look it up and see what the current moon actually is and see if it holds relevence to this new endeavor I started earlier today. Well the Moon in Aquarius means it’s a good time to do spells involving science, freedom, personal expression, problem solving, friendship.
A few of those aspects does hold true. For one witchcraft is actually a complex science. There are many things that you must do, formulas you must calculate to create an effective ritual and or spell. Freedom.. the feeling I get by starting such a blog. A bit of weight off my shoulders if you will. Personal expression – I write alot and I am able to express myself, through words, in such a way that most would find fascinating (lol at least in my own mind!) Problem solving.. yes! This could be a very good way to solve all of my problems … and Yours! .. if you have any, because you can learn right along with me!
Finally, Friendship.. I plan on gaining many friends through this blog. having alot of interaction and followers on twitter ;)~
Now, what does the delightful Aquarius moon, hold for you?
